This monument is located on the Ödemiş-Birgi road. Poslu Mestan Efe took part in the founding of the Ödemiş National Forces. He is known for his raids on Greek troops. The inscription in front of the Poslu Mestan Efe Monument reads: "Poslu Mestan Efe/1892-1920. At the beginning of our War of Independence, he formed the Birgi-Bozdağ-Gölcük Front, fought against the Greeks, participated in the suppression of local uprisings, and was shot by the Greeks in a place called Ayçukuru in Nazilli in 1920. This is presented to the cherished memory of Poslu Mestan Efe and all our martyrs of the National Forces. Birgi Municipality/2008."
