The Kadifekale Air Martyrs' Memorial holds the relics of our heroes who heroically defended our homeland during the War of Independence, those who were martyred in aircraft training flights and exercises, those who were martyred in counter-terrorism operations, and those who were members of the Turkish Armed Forces (THK). The memorial was established as the Air Martyrs' Memorial on February 7, 1939. Since 1987, martyrs from other forces have also been laid to rest.
