Bornova Dokuz Eylül (September 9th) Martyrs Cemetery
About
On September 9, 1922, clashes took place in three locations: on the Manisa road, in the Meyhane Strait, and near the Martyrs' Monument. During these clashes, Sergeant Hüseyin and two soldiers accompanying him were martyred at the Martyrs' Monument. The monument was erected in 1960. It is located in front of Ege University Hospital.
